Tell us what needs removing
Send the appliance type, a photograph and your postcode. Include its location in the property, any stairs and whether it has been disconnected. We confirm acceptance, availability and any charge before arranging collection.
Make it ready for collection
Appliances must be empty and safely disconnected before collection. Gas, electrical and plumbing disconnection should be completed by an appropriately qualified person. Do not attempt to disconnect anything you are unsure about.
Fridges and specialist equipment
Fridges, freezers, cooling equipment and other specialist items can require separate arrangements. Contact us first: these are not automatically included in free metal collection. Tell us if any equipment contains batteries, fluids or other components needing special handling.

Do you collect washing machines?
Yes, subject to access and acceptance. They should be emptied and disconnected before the agreed pickup.
Do you disconnect appliances?
Disconnection is not included. Arrange safe disconnection before collection, using a qualified professional where needed.
